Chambered in .40 S&W, this PC Carbine uses a dead-blow blowback action with a tungsten weight to reduce recoil and bolt travel. The interchangeable magazine-well system accepts Ruger SR-series or Glock-pattern magazines; a spare Glock-pattern insert is included, and the rifle currently has the SR9/SR40 insert installed.
The 16.12 in chrome-moly steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, fluted, and threaded 9/16x24. The receiver has a black oxide finish; the barrel assembly is matte silver/steel in color (not black), consistent with what’s shown.
Ruger's takedown system allows quick separation and reassembly of the barrel/forend and receiver/stock assemblies, and it is designed to return to zero. Sighting is handled by a protected-blade front and an adjustable ghost-ring rear, with a scope mount/rail on the receiver available for optics.
Controls are user-configurable, including a left-side, reversible charging handle and a reversible magazine release, along with a cross-bolt safety. The black glass-filled nylon stock features a spacer-adjustable length of pull (13.0 in), rubber buttpad, and front and rear sling swivel studs. This 2019 USA-made carbine includes three 10-round magazines and has a 10+1 capacity.
