What’s Included
- SIG SAUER factory cardboard box (PSPEAR-762-13B label; factory case label dated 25-NOV-2023)
- 1x 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 (7.62x51) polymer magazine
Converted from the factory pistol configuration (SKU PSPEAR-762-13B) to an SBR, this MCX-SPEAR adds a SIG side-folding stock while retaining the platform’s robust 13" 7.62x51 setup. The receivers are coyote anodized aluminum and carry the factory markings "SIG SAUER INC NEWINGTON NH USA" and "SIGMCX-SPEAR MULTI-CALIBER."
The operating system is a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt and a 2-position adjustable gas valve. Controls include an ambidextrous magazine release and ambidextrous manual safety. The Matchlite Duo two-stage trigger provides a crisp, predictable break.
The rifle’s modular, multi-caliber architecture is matched with a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard featuring extensive slotting, integral QD sling sockets, and a continuous 12 o’clock 1913 rail. It feeds from SR-25 pattern magazines and is rated at a 20+1 capacity; one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 is included.
Ergonomics and handling are supported by the SIG SAUER textured polymer pistol grip and the black polymer side-folding stock with a fixed length of pull. A three-prong quick-attach–style muzzle device is installed at the muzzle. As a civilian derivative of SIG’s XM7 program rifle, this configuration delivers the MCX-SPEAR feature set in a compact 13" SBR format.
