    What's Included
    • Ithaca M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol
    • 1x 7-round steel single-stack GI-pattern magazine

Manufactured in 1943 during WWII, this Ithaca M1911A1 represents one of the U.S. military service pistols produced by Ithaca, one of five contractors that built the M1911A1 for the war effort. It sits within the documented late-1943 to early-1944 Ithaca production block, aligning with its U.S. Army contract markings and parkerized finish.

The pistol retains hallmark GI features: fixed GI-pattern sights with a narrow staked front blade and small rear notch, rear vertical slide serrations, and a non-lowered GI ejection port. It also shows correct A1-style relief cuts behind the trigger and an arched, serrated mainspring housing, paired with a short, serrated-face trigger and a wide-spur, checkered hammer.

Roll marks and proofs are present and appropriate for a U.S. service pistol: "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" on the frame, "ITHACA GUN CO., INC. ITHACA, N.Y." on the slide, P proof on top of the slide and on the left side of the frame, and a "7" stamped on the right-front of the trigger guard. Brown full-checkered grip panels complete the period-correct appearance.

Built on a carbon steel frame and slide with a phosphate/parkerized finish, this full-size 5" .45 ACP operates via single-action, short-recoil with grip safety and manual thumb safety. As noted, the barrel shows visible wear, and the slide’s parkerization exhibits wear at the sights and along the edges, consistent with service handling and use.
