The SAS II TAC Comp is a 2011-platform, double-stack 9mm built on a stainless-steel frame with a full-length accessory rail and a silver finish. Its polymer double-stack grip module uses an aggressive texture and a flared carry magwell to support fast magazine seating. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety are standard.
At the core is a 5-inch, one-piece Hybrid V6 ported, compensated bull barrel with an integral single-port muzzle compensator. The slide is cut with front and rear serrations plus a top window, and it matches the frame's silver finish. A skeletonized hammer and the Link Trigger System (LTS) semi-curved medium trigger contribute to the pistol's single-action operation.
The BAO multi-footprint optics system uses a removable cover plate and supports RMR, DPP, and RMSc-K footprints. Iron sight configuration varies by plate/optic; a black dovetail front sight is present, and rear-sight arrangements may differ with the installed plate. The slide features an optic cut with the cover plate installed from the factory.
