The Model 25 push-feed action uses dual locking lugs and a 90-degree bolt throw for straightforward operation. A spiral-fluted bolt body reduces bearing surface, and the oversized faceted bolt knob offers a positive grasp. The receiver is marked “MODEL 25” with the Christensen Arms logo and “GUNNISON, UT.”
The 20-inch 416R stainless steel barrel is button-rifled and hand-lapped, then threaded 5/8x24 to accept the included side-ported muzzle brake. It carries a 1:8 twist, and the barrel is engraved “Evoke 7mm Backcountry 1/8.” The receiver wears a Smoke Bronze Cerakote finish, while the barrel and side-ported muzzle brake are matte stainless.
The polymer stock wears an earth-tone camouflage finish with textured grip and fore-end panels for control. Integrated sling studs are ready for carry, while a ventilated recoil pad helps manage recoil at the shoulder. A short underside Picatinny rail on the fore-end provides a mounting point for a bipod or tripod.
A TriggerTech single-stage, user-adjustable trigger is fitted from the factory. Feeding is via an MDT AICS-pattern long-action detachable magazine with a stated 3+1 capacity. The rifle includes a one-piece Picatinny scope rail and is supplied without iron sights. Chambering is the SAAMI-standard 7mm Backcountry (Pmax 80,000 psi), specified as optimized for shorter barrels, and the platform carries a factory sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. Made in the USA.
