What’s Included
- Star factory blue plastic case labeled 'Mod. 30 M cal. 9 mm. Parab.'
- Two 15-round steel double-column magazines with numbered witness holes
- Cleaning brushes
The Mod. 30M uses a short-recoil, Browning-type, linkless cam locking system with the slide riding on conventional external frame rails. This design contributes to a solid, all-steel build with a factory barrel length of approximately 4.25 inches (110 mm nominal) and a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Controls are set up for practical DA/SA use: a slide-mounted, ambidextrous manual safety with safe hammer-lowering capability, a firing pin safety, and a left-side magazine release. An exposed spur hammer supports positive manipulation, and an integral lanyard ring is built into the rear of the frame.
Sight and slide features include fixed sights, rear slide serrations, and anti-glare top serrations. Checkered synthetic grips with Star medallions provide a secure interface on the steel frame.
Markings present include the STAR EIBAR ESPAÑA roll mark, a 'P.N.A.' stamp on the right side of the slide, and a partially legible chamber marking. The Mod. 30M saw use with Spanish security forces in the 1990s, and Star ceased production in 1997, placing this pistol firmly in that late-production era.
