This Russian-made Izhmash Saiga-12 is a pre-ban RAA import with 2008 proof stamps, featuring the classic AK-pattern operating system in a 12 gauge platform. It has a 19-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber, and a sporter configuration with polymer furniture. The shotgun includes a left-side AK-style optics side rail and open iron sights, with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

Built on an AK-pattern stamped steel receiver with a long-stroke gas piston system, this Saiga-12 delivers the familiar controls and reliability expected from Izhmash. It is configured with a 19-inch steel barrel and a 3-inch chamber, offering a 5+1 capacity with the included factory magazine.
This example is an RAA (Russian American Armory Company) import and was brought in prior to the 2014 U.S. sanctions on Russian firearms. It carries Russian proof and certification stamps dated 2008, Izhmash triangle/arrow logos, and the RAA Scottsburg, IN importer mark.
The receiver is marked "SAIGA-12" and "САЙГА-12," with selector markings "S" and "F." The stamped receiver has a ribbed top cover and a left-side AK-style optics side rail. Sights are open irons with a front post and rear notch. The bore diameter is marked 18.3 mm, and the muzzle features a knurled collar.
Furniture is the original sporter configuration: a fixed Monte Carlo stock and black polymer forend, both with molded checkering. Length of pull is 13.5 inches. Controls include an AK-style safety/selector lever and a right-side reciprocating charging handle. An aftermarket magazine release block is installed, and the release is fitted with a compliancy device that requires a tool for magazine removal.
