What's Included
- Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 Carbine chambered in .30-30
Built in 1950, this Pre-64 Model 94 retains the traditional Winchester carbine configuration: a 20" round barrel, full-length tubular magazine to the muzzle, and two barrel bands. The receiver is top-eject and made of steel, with the standard-size lever loop and a right-side loading gate.
The rifle is chambered in .30-30 and holds 6+1 rounds. It is fitted with open sights, including a ramped front sight base (hood not installed) and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator for on-the-barrel elevation adjustment.
Stock furniture is classic carbine style: a straight-grip, uncheckered walnut stock with a checkered steel buttplate, paired with a carbine-length walnut fore-end. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
Authentic markings include Winchester "WP" oval proofs on the barrel and receiver ring. The yellow-metal (brass) cartridge carrier is visible through the action, and the serial number is located on the bottom tang, consistent with Pre-64 production. Made in the United States.
