The V3 trigger system delivers traditional DA/SA operation with a rear-mounted decocking button and an external spurred hammer. Control layout is fully ambidextrous, including the paddle-style magazine release and slide release levers, providing accessible manipulation from either side.
The polymer frame uses aggressive molded texturing and HK's modular grip system. This pistol includes four interchangeable side panels and two backstraps, allowing the user to tailor grip size and contour to preference.
The 3.27 in steel barrel features polygonal rifling, and the slide carries both front and rear cocking serrations for confident press checks and manipulations. Sights are fixed, with a high-visibility front dot for a clear sight picture.
Capacity is 10+1 rounds with the included magazines. The dustcover incorporates a short accessory rail with three cross-slots for mounting compatible lights or other rail accessories.
Proofs and markings confirm German manufacture: CIP N nitro proof, Ulm stag antler proof, DE country code, and the HK BF date code indicating 2015. The HKI - Columbus GA importer mark is present as a small adhesive label placed in the frame’s dustcover/accessory rail channel.
