Manufactured by HS Produkt and marked HS PRODUKT KARLOVAC – MADE IN CROATIA, this Kuna also carries Springfield Armory import markings from Geneseo, IL along with the crossed-cannons crest. The model entered the U.S. commercial market in April 2025, giving buyers a recent-production example with identifiable provenance.
The fixed 6-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, Melonite finished, and threaded 1/2x28. A factory multi-port brake is installed at the muzzle, and the setup is paired with the pistol’s roller-delayed blowback action for consistent operation.
A monolithic aluminum upper serves as the core of the chassis, combining elongated lightening and vent slots with integral M-LOK accessory slots along the fore-end. A full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail provides uninterrupted mounting real estate, and a rear 1913 end-plate interface is incorporated at the back.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual safety, paddle-style magazine release, and bolt release. The left-side charging handle is non-reciprocating, folds when not in use, and is reversible. The pistol wears a left-folding, skeletonized brace, and a textured AR-pattern pistol grip. Integrated iron sights offer a hybrid two-mode system: U-notch rear with white-dot front when folded, and aperture rear with post front when raised. Capacity is 30+1, and one 30-round magazine is included.
