This revolving carbine architecture is based on the Taurus Judge, combining a DA/SA action with an exposed hammer and a five-round swing-out cylinder. The cylinder features a knurled ejector-rod tip for positive extraction. Gas-deflector shields and a shaped fore-end are included to mitigate cylinder-gap blast.
The 18.5-inch rifled steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a removable straight-rifled choke. It accepts .410 bore shells up to 3 inches, in addition to .45 Colt, offering flexible chambering within one platform.
Sighting is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable green fiber-optic rear. An integral topstrap Weaver/Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting surface for optics.
The hardwood stock features a raised comb, a pistol-grip wrist, and a rubber recoil pad, complemented by a hardwood fore-end and a front sling swivel. Blued steel is used for the frame, receiver, and cylinder, and the carbine is accented with a gold-tone trigger. Markings include Braztech, L.C., Miami, FL; Made in Brazil by Taurus; the Taurus bull logo; and the SCJ4510 model code. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, and overall length is approximately 35.6 inches.
