What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 Carbine .30-30 lever-action rifle
Built in 1950, this Pre-64 Model 94 Carbine retains the features associated with early post-war production: a 20 inch round barrel, two barrel bands, and a full-length tubular magazine with a stated 6+1 capacity in .30-30. The barrel is marked "Winchester Proof Steel," and both the barrel and receiver carry Winchester oval WP proof marks.
The receiver is the classic top-eject pattern and is not drilled and tapped on the top. Factory left-side receiver-sight holes are present and fitted with plug screws. It has the standard lever loop, a right-side loading gate, and a checkered steel shotgun-style buttplate. Sling attachment points are installed.
Stocking is period-correct with a straight-grip walnut buttstock and a walnut carbine forend secured by a barrel band. The iron sights are a hooded ramp with bead front and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator, giving a clean, traditional sight picture in a compact carbine layout.
The rifle maintains its blued steel finish on both barrel and receiver, complemented by a 13.0 inch length of pull. It is a United States-made, pre-1964 Model 94 that aligns with the configuration and markings collectors look for in an authentic mid-century Winchester carbine.
