This MR920L Elite is the long-slide configuration within the MR920 series, combining a 4.5 in barrel with a compact-length grip for a 15+1 capacity. The slide is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel and features directional front, rear, and top serrations plus lightening windows. The slide is marked “MR920L.”
The match-grade, conventionally rifled barrel has a 1:10 twist, is spiral fluted, and finished in Bronze TiCN. It is unthreaded, with durability and easy maintenance supported by the conventional rifling profile.
The polymer frame emphasizes control and user fit: interchangeable backstraps tune natural point of aim; an extended beavertail, double undercut trigger guard, recoil-control support-hand ledge, wraparound stipple, and a mildly flared magwell aid consistent handling. A single-slot Glock-style accessory rail accepts compatible lights or accessories.
Sight and interface details include iron sights with a front green night sight and black rear. The optics-cut slide uses a direct-mount system with a removable cover plate and supports multiple micro red-dot footprints, with typical co-witness using standard-height irons. Operation is striker-fired with a flat-faced trigger and safety tab, and a trigger safety. Manufacturer markings read “MADE IN USA SHADOW SYSTEMS PLANO, TX.”
