The SB-019 RSR Special Build is a limited, distributor-exclusive configuration of the DDM4 series. Factory packaging is labeled to match the special build, and the lower receiver is marked "MODEL DDM4" and "CAL. MULTI." It is produced in Black Creek, Georgia, USA, and features a Daniel Defense–marked bolt carrier group.
The 10.3 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port flash hider/compensator. Up front is the Daniel Defense DD4 9.5 M-LOK free-float aluminum handguard with a continuous, T-marked 1913 top rail for uninterrupted alignment from receiver to handguard. A low-profile M-LOK handstop is installed for added control.
This AR-15–pattern pistol uses a direct-impingement gas system and standard AR controls, including a forward assist and ejection-port cover, with a manual safety. A Maxim Defense stabilizing brace with strap is installed, and the pistol wears a matte black finish with a textured polymer pistol grip.
