Product Description

    Smith & Wesson Model 25-5 .45 Colt N-Frame Revolver, 6-Inch, Bright Nickel (1981–1982)

This Smith & Wesson Model 25-5 is a full-size, N-frame .45 Colt revolver from the 1981–1982 production period. It features a bright nickel finish over carbon steel, a pinned heavy 6-inch barrel with a serrated rib and integral ejector-rod shroud/half-lug, and a six-shot fluted cylinder. Adjustable sights, factory Target stocks, and wide controls round out a configuration that reflects early 1980s S&W production details.

    What’s Included
    • Smith & Wesson blue hard plastic case with molded logo and factory end label

The Model 25-5 pairs S&W's robust N-frame with the .45 Colt chambering in a six-shot, fluted-cylinder layout. This example is a square-butt, double-action/single-action revolver with factory markings intact, produced in the USA during 1981–1982.

The 6-inch heavy barrel is pinned and features a serrated rib for glare reduction. An integral ejector-rod shroud with a half-lug and a knurled ejector rod provide purposeful barrel and ejector protection consistent with the model's design.

Finished in bright nickel across the frame, cylinder, and barrel, the revolver is built on carbon steel. The construction and finish align with the early-1980s production cues enthusiasts look for, including the pinned-barrel configuration.

Sighting equipment includes a ramped front sight with orange insert and a micrometer-adjustable rear sight. Control surfaces are set up in a target-oriented manner with a wide trigger and a wide, checkered hammer spur for positive purchase.

Factory S&W checkered Target hardwood stocks with medallions complete the classic presentation, complementing the full-size N-frame proportions and providing a solid, repeatable grip.
