The P95PR combines a proven short-recoil, tilting-barrel, link-less camblock design with a compact 3.9" barrel and 15+1 capacity. Its polymer (glass-fiber-reinforced Isoplast) frame and black finish keep weight down while maintaining durability within the P-Series format.
Controls are straightforward and ambidextrous where it matters. The slide-mounted safety/decocker levers are mirrored on both sides, and the pistol features a push-button magazine release and an exposed spurred hammer. The firing pin block adds an internal layer of safety to the DA/SA operating system.
Sight alignment is fast and familiar via a fixed notch-and-post setup. The front is a pinned blade, and the rear is a low-profile unit in a dovetail with a set screw; it is drift-adjustable.
The dust cover is railed with a single cross-slot that is M1913-compatible, expanding mounting options. As the first polymer-frame Ruger P-Series model, and with this example manufactured in 2012 before discontinuation in 2013, it offers a notable snapshot of the series’ late production period.
