Smith & Wesson Model 57 No-Dash .41 Magnum, 6 Inch Blued N-Frame Revolver with Simmons 2x20 Scope (1975–1976)
This no-dash Smith & Wesson Model 57 is a mid-1970s N-frame .41 Magnum with a high-polish blued finish, 6 inch barrel, and recessed six-shot cylinder. It is factory-configured with a ramp front sight with orange insert, and is outfitted in a period handgun-hunting setup using a B-Square topstrap mount and a Simmons 2x20 scope. Chambered in .41 Magnum and ready for the range with a Simmons 2x20mm scope, or on the trail for animal defense, the Smith & Wesson Model 57 is ready to serve.
Manufactured in the 1975–1976 period, this no-dash variant is confirmed by the yoke-cut "MOD. 57" marking. It is built on the large N-frame with a six-shot fluted cylinder and recessed chambers, case-colored hammer and trigger, and a non–full underlug profile with ejector-rod shroud. A checkered hammer spur and a case-colored trigger complete the classic target-oriented controls.
The 6 inch barrel wears the "SMITH & WESSON" and ".41 MAGNUM" rollmarks, while the left sideplate bears the S&W trademark logo and the right frame shows "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS." The front sight is a ramp with orange insert; the factory rear sight has been removed to accommodate the installed scope mount.
A B-Square topstrap mount with rings supports a Simmons 2x20 scope, giving a clean, period-correct sighting system well-suited to the .41 Magnum's capabilities. The checkered hardwood target-style stocks with S&W medallions provide a secure, traditional grip on the carbon-steel frame.

This Model 57 retains its classic high-polish blued finish over carbon steel with case-colored hammer and trigger, presenting the look and feel that define S&W's 1970s production. The large N-frame platform manages the .41 Remington Magnum well, and the recessed six-shot cylinder underscores the period-correct build details.
The 6 inch barrel with ejector-rod shroud balances the revolver, while the ramp front sight with orange insert offers a clear reference. The installed optic and mount occupy the rear-sight position in this scoped configuration.
The B-Square topstrap mount and Simmons 2x20 scope reflect a period handgun-hunting configuration and keep the revolver ready to shoot as set up. The target-style, checkered hardwood stocks with S&W medallions complement the case-colored trigger and wide, checkered hammer spur for confident handling.
