The SCAR 20S RCH uses FN's short-stroke gas piston system and a monolithic aluminum upper/forend that provides a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny top rail and a numbered 6 o'clock rail. The receiver is marked "SCAR 20S MULTI-CALIBER," and the rifle wears a black finish with an aluminum upper and polymer lower. Country of origin is the USA.
The 20-inch heavy-profile barrel features a 1:10 twist and is threaded, capped with a two-port PROCOMP muzzle brake. The barrel carries an MP marking, indicating magnetic particle inspection.
Its precision fixed SSR-style stock offers an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable buttpad height, delivering a dialed-in fit. Length of pull is 13.25 inches, and a rear sling slot is integrated into the stock.
