The Mod.2 1301 Tactical pairs a compact 18.5 in. steel barrel and a 3 in. chamber with Beretta's B-LINK gas-operated, rotating-bolt action. The result is a proven tactical semi-auto layout with a 7-round magazine tube for a 7+1 total capacity. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a Flat Dark Earth finish and is factory marked "BERETTA" and "1301 Tactical."
The installed GG&G-modified Magpul Zhukov M-LOK forend (GGG handguard/forend) provides a robust polymer handguard with M-LOK accessory mounting. A Mesa Tactical pistol-grip stock with an adjustable cheek riser and a LimbSaver buttpad sets a short 12.5 in. length of pull.
Controls and handling features include an enlarged/extended charging handle and an enlarged bolt-release paddle, plus a cross-bolt safety. Sight equipment is a ghost-ring style setup with a protected front post and a rear unit mounted at the rear of the receiver. The platform is compatible with Beretta Optima-Choke HP tubes; one tube and the OEM wrench are included.
Additional details include a clamp linking the barrel and magazine tube that integrates a QD sling socket, an IT24 proof mark, and a receiver-mounted optics/adapter plate. The overall configuration is tailored for duty or defensive roles while remaining grounded in Beretta's tactical 1301 lineage.
