The AL 390 Silver Mallard uses Beretta’s self-compensating, gas-operated system, giving reliable cycling across a wide range of 12 gauge loads. It is configured with right-side ejection, a cross-bolt safety, and a tubular magazine with a 4+1 capacity.
The steel barrel measures 28 inches and is topped with a ventilated rib and a single front bead. It is threaded for the Beretta Mobilchoke system and supports both flush and extended tubes. An EF choke is installed, and the included set covers Patternmaster, F, IC, M, and Comp Full options.
The receiver is finished in anodized black with factory scroll engraving, paired with a blued barrel. Details include a gold-colored trigger and silver bolt handle and bolt-release button, plus a BERETTA-branded insert in the forend tip just behind the magazine cap.
The stock set is gloss walnut with sharp checkering, a pistol grip, and a long, tapered forend with a rounded nose, finished with a Beretta buttplate. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, and stock shims are included for fit adjustment.
