This STAS-series P226-XFIVE is an all-stainless, full-size build with an extended beavertail and a long dustcover. The dustcover carries a multi-slot accessory rail, and the slide and frame share a stainless finish for a cohesive, purpose-driven appearance.
The fire-control system is single-action-only with an external hammer and ambidextrous, frame-mounted thumb safeties. SIG's AX3 flat match trigger allows user adjustment of pull weight, over-travel, and length-of-pull, supporting precise setup. A firing-pin block adds an additional internal safety layer.
The target sight configuration pairs a green fiber-optic front with a fully adjustable rear, giving clear sight definition and precise elevation and windage control. Black textured grip panels with the X motif provide a consistent hold.
Controls include a left-side magazine release and an extended, checkered sport takedown lever that serves as a stable thumb rest. An extended, flared magwell is fitted to streamline magazine insertion with the included steel magazines and their extended basepads.
This model is a continuation of the renowned X-Five lineage within SIG's current U.S. Custom Works production, delivering the STAS feature set in a modern, American-made package.
