Designed as the civilian derivative of Beretta’s ARX160 service rifle, the ARX100 brings a short-stroke gas piston system to a robust, US-made platform chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its lightweight polymer chassis keeps weight under 7 lb while maintaining durability and modularity for hard use.
The 16-inch barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and MP marked, with a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO. It is threaded and fitted with an A2-pattern flash suppressor. A two-position adjustable gas regulator supports reliable function across conditions, and the tool-free quick-change barrel uses dual side release levers for fast swaps.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, magazine release, and bolt catch. The charging handle is reversible, and the rifle offers user-selectable left or right ejection. The side-folding, telescoping stock provides an adjustable length of pull of approximately 10–13 inches to fit different shooters and shooting positions.
A full-length numbered Picatinny top rail and a short accessory rail on the right fore-end provide mounting surfaces. Factory flip-up front and rear iron sights are included, and the polymer receiver/handguard features longitudinal cooling slots. Capacity is 30+1. Markings include: "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP.
