This Ruger-made Marlin 1895 Dark Series stands out with RM-prefix serialization and Mayodan, NC manufacture, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. It features a 16 in cold-hammer-forged, threaded barrel with a radial muzzle brake, an extended Picatinny rail with an integrated ghost-ring rear sight, and a fiber-optic front sight. A Chisel Machining adjustable aluminum chassis stock, long aluminum M-LOK handguard, and a large-loop lever with a braided paracord wrap complete a purposeful, modern .45-70 package.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor scratches and blemishes are present on exterior surfaces. The cheek pad has a small cut. Carbon buildup is visible on the muzzle brake.

Ruger-made production is confirmed by the RM-prefix serialization and the barrel marking "MADE IN MAYODAN, NC – USA," located just forward of the receiver. The rifle retains the Dark Series look with a Graphite Black Cerakote finish and matte black aluminum furniture.
The 16 in alloy steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged and threaded 11/16-24, fitted with a radial muzzle brake, and cut with a 1:20 RH twist for .45-70 loads. The tubular magazine holds 5+1 rounds.
An extended Picatinny rail spans the receiver and forward onto the barrel. The ghost-ring rear sight is integrated into the rail, and the front sight is a fiber-optic unit on a ramped base.
The rifle is outfitted with a Chisel Machining adjustable aluminum chassis stock featuring a skeletonized design and cheek piece, plus a Kick-EEZ comb pad/cover. A long aluminum M-LOK handguard is installed, along with a QD sling mount and an M-LOK rail section. The large-loop lever has a braided paracord wrap.
Controls include a cross-bolt safety, side ejection, and a right-side loading gate. Length of pull measures 13.5 in.
