The MkGs pattern is built for Glock small-frame double-stack .40 S&W magazines when paired with a MkGs lower, bringing straightforward magazine compatibility to an AR-9 format. CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback system uses a rotating bolt to manage .40 S&W pressures while maintaining smooth cycling.
The 8 inch barrel is threaded, and the assembly is completed with a free-float M-LOK handguard for direct accessory mounting. Installed M-LOK rail cover/grip panels provide added texture where the support hand indexes.
The upper receiver features a flat-top Picatinny rail, forward assist, and ejection-port cover. An ambidextrous charging handle with extended latches gives positive purchase from either side.
Finished in Titanium Cerakote, this upper carries CMMG’s mfg part number/SKU 40B735C-TI, with the factory label dated May 31, 2024. One 33-round Glock OEM magazine is included; when assembled on a MkGs lower, the platform supports a 33+1 capacity with compatible magazines.
