The P-01 platform combines a compact size with an aluminum alloy frame, black polycoat finish, and a 3.75 inch steel barrel. It runs a semi-automatic, recoil-operated DA/SA system with a decocker, and uses a ring-style hammer. An integral compact-length accessory rail is machined into the frame for mounting lights.
Markings include the NATO Stock Number (NSN 1005-16-000-8619) on the frame, CIP N proof, a 16 date code, and CZ-USA Kansas City import marks. The slide, frame, and barrel hood carry matching serial numbers, and the pistol is made in the Czech Republic.
Sights are fixed, with a pinned fiber-optic front sight upgrade paired to a fixed rear. The pistol also features a lanyard loop at the butt. The previous owner reports a Cajun Gunworks Pro Kit is installed, and the trigger pull is smooth and light.
