This Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus is the manual thumb safety variant, part number 13246, in excellent condition with clean internals and crisp controls. It is a recent-release micro 9mm built with a stainless steel slide and barrel treated in Armornite and finished matte black, and it comes with both 13-round and 10-round factory steel magazines.
The Shield Plus platform here features a striker-fired action with a flat-face trigger and integral safety tab. Ambidextrous manual thumb-safety levers provide bilateral control, and the polymer frame wears the aggressive M2.0-style texture with the M&P logo for a secure hold.
The 3.1 in stainless steel barrel uses a 1:10 RH twist. The slide shows rear serrations and forward scalloped serrations for confident manipulation, and both the slide and barrel receive Smith & Wesson’s Armornite treatment under a matte black finish.
Factory sights are the 3-dot white pattern with a white-dot front post and a white 2-dot rear, delivering a 5.3 in sight radius. The slide is marked "M&P 9 SHIELD PLUS" and the barrel hood is marked "9MM" for clear identification.
Included are one flush-profile 10-round steel magazine and one 13-round extended steel magazine with grip sleeve, reflecting the Shield Plus tapered double-stack magazine design. The pistol carries the factory warning "CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
