Staccato HD C3.6 9mm Compact 2011 SAO, 3.6 in Stainless Bull Barrel, Optic-Cut Slide, 10+1
This Staccato (STI) HD C3.6 is a recent-release, USA-made compact 2011 platform chambered in 9mm Luger. It combines a 3.6 inch stainless bull barrel with a lightened, optic-cut slide and a 7075 aluminum frame to deliver a durable, carry-sized package. Marked “STACCATO★C3.6” and “20★11 HD,” it retains the rear sight forward of the optic position and ships with two 10-round magazines.
The stainless bull barrel features a recessed crown, while the slide carries front and rear serrations, lightening windows, and top vent cuts. An accessory Picatinny rail with two cross-slots is integrated into the dustcover. The HD-series design includes a drop-safe firing-pin block and the updated HOST optic layout with a cover plate installed over the optic cut.
The single-action-only system uses a skeletonized trigger with lightening windows and a skeletonized commander-style (rowel) hammer, paired with a thumb safety. The polymer grip module has aggressive texture and a beveled magazine well with Staccato star logos. Fixed iron sights include a high-visibility front dot and a fixed rear sight positioned ahead of the optic cut.
Capacity is 10+1 using the included steel-body magazines, and the platform uses proprietary Staccato/2011 double-stack steel magazines and is not compatible with Glock-pattern 9mm double-stack magazines. Approximate dimensions are 7.1 inches overall length, 4.8 inches in height, and about 27 ounces. Matching serial locations appear on the barrel hood and dustcover with a “C36” prefix. The model is listed on a state handgun roster as “HD C3.6,” with compliance noted for California.
