CSMC RBL Launch Edition 20 Gauge Side-by-Side, 28 inch Barrels, Case Color-Hardened, Factory Engraved, English Grip
This Connecticut Shotgun MFG Co. RBL Launch Edition is a USA-made, limited-production 20 gauge side-by-side with 28 inch blued steel barrels and a bone-and-charcoal case color-hardened round-body 8620 steel receiver. Factory scroll engraving accents the receiver, fences, top lever, and trigger guard. It features an English straight-grip walnut stock with splinter forend, a single gold-colored trigger, and a solid rib with a brass bead. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches, and the bores are excellent.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: There are scratches on the stock and barrels, and mild wear on the trigger guard. The barrels present well with minor pitting noted. The locking lug and mechanism show ample life, the barrel fit is tight, and the ejectors are timed. The original canvas-and-leather case has minor wear and some stains.

The RBL Launch Edition pairs classic form with modern usability. Its 28 inch blued steel barrels carry a solid, non-vent top rib and a brass bead front sight. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches, with a break-action, boxlock design and capacity of two. Ejectors are timed, the action locks up tight, and the single gold-colored trigger works with a manual top-tang safety.
The round-body receiver is machined from 8620 steel and finished in bone-and-charcoal case color hardening. Factory scroll engraving covers the receiver, fences, top lever, and trigger guard, with clean markings including manufacturer and model information and SAFE on the tang safety.
Stocked in walnut, this RBL wears an English-style straight grip with hand checkering for secure purchase. The splinter forend uses a Deeley (Deeley & Edge) latch. Cast is neutral, and the length of pull measures 14.75 inches for a straightforward, traditional fit.
The screw-in choke system is factory-marked RBL 20 GA on the tubes; the solid top rib is unmarked. Chokes: IC, 2x SK, M, IM, F. This setup offers a wide range of constrictions to tailor patterns as needed.
