What’s Included
- Colt Frontier Scout F-Series .22 LR revolver with aftermarket stag-style grip panels
Built in 1960, this F-Series Frontier Scout represents the early production run identified by the F-suffix serial. It retains hallmark Colt features including a 6-shot fluted cylinder and single-action-only operation in a compact, easy-handling .22 LR format.
The revolver uses a duo-tone construction with an aluminum-alloy frame paired to a blued steel barrel and cylinder. Sights are fixed, with a blade front and an integral groove/notch in the topstrap for the rear, consistent with the Frontier Scout layout.
Factory markings include the Colt rampant horse-in-circle on the right side of the frame. The barrel rollmarks read "COLT SINGLE ACTION FRONTIER SCOUT 22 L.R." along with the Hartford address. A Colt-marked crescent ejector head completes the classic profile.
This example wears aftermarket two-piece stag-style grips secured by a single screw, without Colt medallions. The 4.75 inch barrel length balances carry and sight radius while preserving the traditional Frontier Scout look and handling.
