Manufactured by Uberti in Italy, this Whitneyville variant follows the open-top frame pattern and uses a single-action percussion system in .44 black powder. The 7.5 inch octagon-to-round barrel is secured by a traditional wedge, and a loading lever with latch is fitted beneath the barrel for charging the cylinder.
Metalwork is executed with a blued steel barrel and cylinder and a color case-hardened steel frame. The revolver wears a square-back brass trigger guard with a Walker-style large grip frame, paired with a one-piece walnut grip that completes the period-correct configuration.
The six-chamber cylinder is roll-engraved with the classic Ranger and Indian fight scene. Sighting is fixed, with a front blade and a rear notch integral to the hammer, consistent with the Dragoon pattern.
Proof marks include the CIP PN black-powder proof, the boxed 22 date code, and the Gardone/Brescia proof crest, confirming a recent production example. Serial numbers are present on the barrel lug and frame, as typical for Uberti reproductions.
