The HD-series redesign adds a drop-safe firing pin block and removes the traditional 1911 grip safety, pairing modern safety features with single-action-only operation. Ambidextrous manual thumb safeties and ambidextrous slide-stop levers provide mirrored controls for either hand. A skeletonized single-action trigger supports a consistent trigger press.
The 4 inch heavy, bushingless bull barrel is matched to a flat-wire recoil system for controlled cycling. The slide features elongated top and side lightening windows, front and rear cocking serrations, and an optics cut with a fitted cover plate. The iron sight set includes a green-ring front blade and a square-notch rear positioned forward of the optics cut.
A carbon-steel frame with DLC finish and a full-length dust cover integrates a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail. The polymer grip module offers heavy texture, an undercut trigger guard, and a flared magwell for confident purchase and fast magazine changes.
Capacity is 18+1 in 9mm Luger, and this pistol ships with four 18-round magazines. It is marked STACCATO FLORENCE, TX USA, made in the USA, and is documented on the California DOJ roster for compliance in that state.
