It features a 22-inch barrel, a blued finish with a case-colored lever, and a Monte Carlo walnut stock with classic 99C appointments. What’s Included
    • 1x 4-round detachable steel box magazine marked "FRONT"
    • Williams barrel-mounted rear sight (installed)
    • Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad (installed)

The Model 99C Series A combines the hammerless lever-action of the 99 lineage with a detachable box magazine, here configured for 7mm-08 Rem with a 4+1 capacity. This example was manufactured in 1981 in Westfield, Massachusetts and wears a traditional blued finish complemented by a case-colored lever.

The factory-style sighting setup includes a hooded ramp front sight with a knurled hood and a Williams barrel-mounted open rear sight installed. Together, they provide a clean, open-sight picture appropriate for the rifle’s 22-inch barrel and chambering.

The walnut stock features a Monte Carlo comb, a pistol grip with cut-style checkering, a black grip cap set with a gold-tone Savage Indian-head medallion, and a plain, one-piece walnut forend with a rounded nose. White-line spacers, sling swivel studs, and a 14.0-inch length of pull complete the stock configuration. A Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad is installed.

As a 99C variant, this rifle uses a detachable steel box magazine and retains the Series A update marking. Chambered in 7mm-08 Rem, it pairs a modern cartridge with the distinctive, hammerless lever-action design that defines the Model 99 line.
