The Performance Center Carry Comp configuration features a 3.1-inch steel barrel with Power-Port porting to vent gases upward. The slide is lightened with top chevron cuts and includes front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. These factory enhancements are tailored to this model and differentiate it from standard Bodyguard 2.0 variants.
This pistol uses a locked-breech, tilting-barrel operating system and a striker-fired action. It is built without a manual thumb safety and is capable of firing with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect). There is no accessory rail on the frame.
The flat-faced trigger incorporates an integral safety blade, and the frame is polymer with a stippled texture for consistent grip. Dovetailed steel sights provide a clear, durable sight picture.
Capacity is 13+1 in .380 ACP. The pistol comes with two magazines (12-round and 10-round), reflecting a mix of flush-fit and extended base pad configurations as noted. The micro size supports discreet carry while retaining purposeful features from Smith & Wesson's Performance Center line.
