The 2K11 Target is a full-size, double-stack 1911 (2011-style) platform chambered in 9mm Luger. It ships with 17- and 20-round magazines, and the platform is noted for a maximum capacity of 21+1. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a grip safety, a textured magazine release, and an extended slide stop for confident manipulation.
Its 5" stainless steel barrel is a coned, fluted bull profile with a polished DLC finish, 5R rifling, and a 1:10 left-hand twist. This barrel configuration emphasizes durability and consistency while maintaining a sleek, modern look through the longitudinal fluting.
The tri-top slide wears a Coyote PVD (bronze) finish and features a long top window, lightening cuts, and front/rear chevron (S-style) cocking serrations. It uses an external extractor and an optic cut/plate system. An installed Trijicon SRO sits on a C&H Precision RMR-footprint plate. The TAG Precision FiberLok 2 red fiber-optic front sight is present; the adjustable rear sight is integrated into the cover plate and is not present when the optic plate is installed.
Built on a black DLC/hardcoat anodized aluminum frame with a modular grip, this pistol includes an accessory rail with three Picatinny slots. The fire-control suite includes a flat-faced, skeletonized, match-grade trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. Receiver markings read “KIMBER TROY, AL USA,” and the pistol is made in the USA.
