What’s Included
- Winchester Model 69A .22 S/L/LR bolt-action rifle
- No magazine included
The Model 69A is a detachable box magazine repeater design with a front-mounted magazine catch; the magazine well and catch are present. This example is from the early pattern period, evidenced by the smooth, ungrooved receiver top commonly seen before mid‑1954. Normal production examples of this model were not serial-numbered.
The rifle features a 25-inch barrel with a crowned muzzle. Sighting is via a barrel-dovetailed front blade and a barrel-mounted open leaf rear sight with an elevator, providing a familiar, adjustable open-sight arrangement.
The stock is walnut with a straight comb, a small pistol grip, and an uncheckered, full-length fore-end. It wears a steel buttplate with the Winchester circular logo. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Metalwork is blued on the barrel and receiver; the bolt body is polished in-the-white. The 69A action cocks on opening and incorporates the revised safety configuration of this model.
