The pistol uses a Browning-type short-recoil, tilting-barrel system and is configured as single-action only. It has a 4.6-inch barrel and a 9+1 capacity, aided by the M57’s extended grip frame. A steel lanyard ring is integrated into the frame, and the included magazine has a lanyard-loop floorplate.

The blued carbon-steel slide has rear vertical serrations and an anti-glare serration strip along the top. Sights are fixed iron, with a fixed front blade and a drift-adjustable rear square-notch in a dovetail.
