This Comp variant integrates a single-port compensator directly into the 5-inch barrel and uses a crowned muzzle. The design keeps overall length and weight focused while providing a purpose-built barrel assembly for the model.
The 3D-machined slide is matte stainless and incorporates lightening cuts, a front slide window, a lowered ejection port, and a protected front sight pocket. It uses an external extractor and the 2K11-series toolless guide-rod system for simplified maintenance.
The full-length dustcover carries a three-slot Picatinny/1913 rail. The polymer double-stack grip module features aggressive texturing and a flared magwell, supporting the 20+1 capacity with the included steel-body magazines.
Controls and fire control are single-action only with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized, lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer round out the performance-oriented setup. Sights include a green fiber-optic TAG Precision front and a black rear plate.
This example is marked on the frame “KIMBER TROY AL USA,” reflecting its U.S. manufacture. As a January 2026 introduction to the 2K11 line, it represents the Comp configuration within the series.
