The 2K11 Pro Royal platform delivers a double-stack 1911 layout in a compact size with a 4-inch barrel and a stated 20+1 capacity. As part of Kimber’s 2K11 series, the frame is marked “KIMBER TROY, AL USA” and model family “2K11,” noting its place in the company’s first full-production double-stack lineup.
Performance-oriented features include the DSC Gunworks V6 ported barrel and a ported slide with six top ports and side lightening cuts. The slide is cut for optics and ships with a removable rear mounting plate installed, while the sight setup retains a red fiber-optic front and a black rear notch for a crisp sight picture.
The Bronze PVD finish covers both the slide and metal frame. A full-length dust cover with five Picatinny slots provides mounting space. The polymer double-stack grip module uses a honeycomb texture and feeds into an extended, flared magwell for efficient magazine changes.
Controls and fire-control upgrades center on a single-action-only system with an aftermarket Red Dirt skeletonized trigger. Safety features include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety with memory bump.
