The Sub-Compact variant of the PX4 Storm uses a short-recoil, cam-tilting barrel system tailored to this size class, paired with a 3-inch stainless barrel in a matte bead-blast finish. The slide is steel with a durable Bruniton coating, and it includes both front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
Type F configuration provides ambidextrous slide-mounted levers that serve as both a manual safety and a decocker, with clear red fire indicator dots. The pistol is DA/SA with a bobbed external hammer, offering a traditional double-action first shot and single-action follow-ups.
The frame is fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer with aggressive texturing on the frontstrap, backstrap, and side panels for a secure hold. A short accessory rail with a single slot is integrated into the dust cover.
Aftermarket Trijicon 3-dot tritium night sights are installed. The sights are dovetailed and replaceable; the rear is marked 'H3 19.' The sight radius measures 4.6 inches.
