Chambered in 9mm Parabellum, this Model 1930 Commercial features the integral forward magazine housing with a fixed 10-round internal magazine and an approximately 5.5 in barrel. Its short-recoil, locked-breech system with a vertically sliding locking block is true to the model’s later evolution, and the ring-type hammer and manual safety complete the familiar C96 manual of arms.
The pistol carries clear period and manufacturer markings: Mauser banner logo on the right-side frame, "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR" on the left-side frame, and "9mm Parabellum" on the left side of the barrel. A small crowned proof appears on the right barrel-extension flat. The barrel underside is stamped "REFURBISHED BY FED ORD INC. – S.E.M. CA USA," documenting its 1980s Federal Ordnance refurbishment.
Sighting equipment consists of a barrel-mounted blade front and a tangent rear sight with a graduated slider. The steel frame and receiver are complemented by grooved wooden grip panels, a stock slot at the rear of the grip, and a lanyard ring on the butt—functional features associated with the Model 1930 Commercial series.
This example includes a Mauser C96 wooden shoulder stock/holster with attaching iron, with the toe plate stamped "700." The detachable holster-stock configuration matches the pistol’s stock slot interface, adding period-correct carry and display options to the package.
