The MAC 9 DS Comp is a compact, double-stack 2011-style 9mm with a 4.25 in bushingless, ported bull barrel and forged steel slide and frame finished in a QPQ/Tenifer-type treatment. This example comes with a factory-installed Mecanik slide-mounted red dot and ambidextrous manual safeties. The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail, offering a well-equipped package marked by Military Armament Corporation and manufactured by Tisas in Turkey.

Built on a 2011 platform, the MAC 9 DS Comp uses a forged steel slide and frame with a polymer double-stack grip module bearing the MAC shield logo. The compact configuration pairs a commander-length 4.25 in, bushingless bull barrel with top ports to complement the slide’s lightening and vent windows near the muzzle.
The metal components wear a QPQ/Tenifer-type finish, and the slide features rear slanted cocking serrations. The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail. Markings include MILITARY ARMAMENT CORP KNOXVILLE, TN., MAC 9 DS, and TISAS MADE IN TURKEY.
Controls and fire-control parts are set up for single-action-only operation with ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety. The flat-faced, blue anodized trigger has a lightening slot, and the hammer is a skeletonized, commander-style pattern.
This pistol includes a Mecanik slide-mounted reflex red dot and retains a fixed blade front sight. Capacity is 17+1 with the included double-stack steel magazines, and approximate weight is 30 oz. A competition-style Kydex holster is provided; one screw is missing from its belt loops.
