The M&P9 M2.0 Compact pairs a 4.0" stainless-steel barrel (1:10 RH twist) with an Armornite-treated stainless slide in black. The slide features forward and rear cocking serrations and a factory optics-ready cut with a cover plate installed.
Controls are practical and modern: striker-fired action with tactile, audible reset; left-side magazine release; and ambidextrous slide stop. The pistol ships with two 15-round steel magazines for a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Ergonomics are tuned for fit and control. The polymer frame uses the aggressive M2.0 texture and comes with S, M, and L interchangeable palmswell backstraps. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is molded into the dust cover for lights or lasers.
Sight picture is straightforward with dovetailed white-dot front and rear sights. The no-thumb-safety configuration is paired with no magazine disconnect, matching the listed submodel. The case label shows SKU 13144, matching the no-thumb-safety configuration.
