The PPQ M2 format delivers the push-button, reversible magazine release and an ambidextrous slide stop. Capacity is 15+1 rounds, and the 4-inch steel barrel is non-threaded. The frame uses an aggressive textured grip with a palm-swell for a secure hold.
Both slide and barrel, as well as internal parts, are Tenifer-treated. This treatment is paired with Walther's Quick Defense trigger system, noted for a short reset and a constant pull from shot to shot.
Sight setup is a TG-H3 tritium 3-dot arrangement, front and rear, and the dust cover features a 3-slot Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or lasers.
This example is German-made and marked accordingly: DE and CIP N proofs, "BE" two-letter date code for 2014, and frame markings for CARL WALTHER ULM/DO and MADE IN GERMANY. It was imported by Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR.
Enhancements include a flared magwell insert to aid reloads and two magazines equipped with extended basepads bearing the TF logo.
