Made in the USA, it comes well-equipped with three magazines and an RMR-pattern adapter plate.

The Pro Comp configuration centers on a 4.25 inch bull barrel with an integrated compensator to reduce muzzle rise. The slide includes forward lightening/vent cuts, an external extractor, and a removable optics plate, allowing direct mounting of compatible optics when desired.
The frame and slide are stainless steel with a uniform matte black finish. An extended dust cover with a three-slot accessory rail supports lights or lasers, and the underside of the dust cover is stamped "KIMBER TROY AL USA" with "2K11" roll-marked on the frame.
The double-stack 2K11 grip module provides increased capacity and a stable hold, aided by a high beavertail grip safety and a flared magwell. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, and the single-action system uses a skeletonized hammer and a match-grade, skeletonized, lightened trigger shoe.
Sight regulation is handled by a plain black, screw-adjustable rear mounted on the removable plate and a red fiber-optic front in a dovetail. The pistol uses a Browning-type locked-breech, tilting-barrel system and a toolless guide-rod setup. Factory-published measurements list an approximate weight of 33.4 oz, height around 5.76 in, and overall length about 7.79 in.
