The P4.5 pairs a 4.5-inch bull barrel with a barrel-mounted sight block for added front weight and a clear, consistent sight picture. The steel frame, full-length dust cover, and captive flat-wire recoil system reflect the HD-series design focus on durability and control.
The slide features front, rear, and top serrations, plus a factory optics cut using Staccato's HOST optic interface with a two-screw cover plate. A fixed rear notch is positioned forward of the optic cut, and the installed front night sight provides a bright aiming reference.
Controls and ergonomics include ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, a flat-faced skeletonized trigger, and a prominent beavertail. The polymer grip module carries molded texture and Staccato star logos, and the flared magwell speeds reloads.
A 4-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers. The system uses an external extractor, and factory capacity is rated at 19+1. Three steel double-stack magazines are included; each shows 18-round witness marks and green followers.
