The 2K11 Target configuration centers on a 5-inch bull, bushingless barrel finished in a bronze/gold tone that is visible through three top slide windows. The slide also includes geometric side milling and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable clearance.
The frame architecture pairs a stainless-steel subframe with a 7075 aluminum-alloy grip module. The full-length 1913 Picatinny dust-cover rail has three slots to accommodate common rail-mounted accessories, and the molded textured grip uses a zig-zag motif for traction.
Controls and fire control are set up for precise, single-action performance: a skeletonized trigger, skeletonized hammer, left-side magazine release, and ambidextrous manual thumb safeties with an extended beavertail grip safety. The pistol is hammer-fired and SAO.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a green fiber-optic front and a black adjustable rear. Capacity is 17+1 with the included steel double-stack magazine. Production is from Kimber's facility in Troy, Alabama, with the 2K11 series beginning shipments in December 2024.
