Product Description

This 1860 Henry rifle from Uberti comes to us from a private collection in excellent condition and includes the original Uberti paperwork, as pictured. The rifle is chambered in .45 Colt and has a brass receiver, making it a highly sought-after piece for collectors and shooters alike. The rifle also boasts a handsome walnut stock and a 24.5" barrel. Uberti’s 1860 Henry Rifle sports the model’s distinctive receiver, which was originally offered in bronze or steel. One of the most coveted rifles in the U.S.

Civil War, it became infamous among Confederate troops as the rifle that Yankee soldiers could “Load on Sunday and shoot all week.” Today the Uberti 1860 Henry is an absolute favorite in N-SSA target shooting competitions, thanks to its historic looks, fast handling and great accuracy. The only “poetic license” we took is caliber selection, since the Henry’s original .44 rimfire is long obsolete. Uberti has faithfully reconstructed this 1860 Henry with a brass-receiver in .45 long colt chambering and handsome walnut rear stocks and a 24.5" barrel. The Henry rifle, introduced by Tyler Henry of the New Haven Arms Company in the year the Civil War began, quickly gained a reputation as a reliable and efficient weapon. This particular rifle is a faithful recreation of the original, with a few modern updates to make it suitable for today's shooters.

With its fast handling and great accuracy, the Uberti 1860 Henry is a popular choice for N-SSA target shooting competitions.
