The Ruger Precision Rifle Magnum Muzzle Brake with a tunable compensator helps to reduce recoil and muzzle jump, making it easier to take accurate shots at long ranges. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger is also externally adjustable, allowing you to customize your trigger pull for a range of 2.25 to 5 pounds.
The rifle also features an in-line recoil path that manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, improving accuracy potential. The Ruger Precision® MSR stock has a bottom Picatinny rail and a soft rubber buttpad, and the left-folding stock hinge accepts any AR-style stock. The magazine well front is contoured for a positive grip when bracing against shooting supports, and the oversized bolt handle makes it easy to manipulate the bolt. The lower magazine well halves are precision-machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and are Type III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability.
The handguard includes integral QD sling attachment points to eliminate the need for additional adaptors, a target-style flat bottom that improves stability, and an integral bottom 1.50" dovetail that is compatible with RRS S.O.A.R. and similar QD systems.
