The bore is in good condition, ensuring reliable performance. This particular rifle was manufactured by the U.S. Springfield Armory in 1917 as a "low-number" M1903 and has been proof-tested for strength and durability. The rifle features the iconic "P" stamp behind the trigger guard, indicating its successful passing of pressure tests for acceptance into the U.S.

Military. Furthermore, the right side of the stock has been stamped with "L.S.A.A," signifying that it was rebuilt by the San Antonio Arsenal. Unfortunately, the original factory box or case is not included in the sale.
