This beautiful, highly desirable Springfield Armory M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle is in excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior handling or use. The rifle was manufactured in November of 1943 and is a CMP Service Grade - Very Good to excellent Condition showing no metal pitting; only some dents in the wood stock. The package includes the original sling, original bayonet, and CMP paperwork, certificate of authenticity and hang-tag. The rifle was expertly maintenanced and has an excellent bore condition and is chambered in .30-06 with a delayed blowback action. The adjustable rear aperture and adjustable shrouded front blade make sighting in a breeze.

The blued finish and wooden stock/grips give the rifle a classic and timeless look. With a capacity of 8 rounds and a barrel length of 24", this rifle is perfect for CMP Competitions, hunting or range use. The M1 Garand allowed U.S. troops to enter WW2 as the only country with a semi-automatic service rifle of the time.
